World-class master chef Nobuyuki ‘Nobu’ Matsuhisa will expand his eponymous empire with the debut of his first restaurant in Africa. His innovative blend of classically styled Japanese cuisine will incorporate fresh South African seafood and indigenous spices to create unique dishes such as toro tartar, rock shrimp and scallops in yuzu sauce and mochi ice cream. An inviting open space with a fantastic piece of contemporary art adorning the ceiling.

At the heart of the Marina Rise, this stylish and contemporary bar will connect Plate and Nobu, adding a lively energy to the lobby area. With amazing views of Table Mountain offered through an eight-metre high glass wall, guests may dine on an à la carte, continental breakfast menu, a selection of creative light snacks throughout the day and afternoon tea. Evenings will feature an innovative variety of cocktails from around the world.

Located on its own private island in the waterway, the spacious 1,200m2/3,937ft2 One&Only Spa will be a serene haven in the heart of a bustling city. Encompassing 11 treatment rooms for both single and couple therapies, the spa will also include a scenic relaxation room, sauna and steam rooms, men’s and women’s changing rooms, two 18m2/59ft2 vitality pools and a full-service salon including pedicures and manicures by Bastien Gonzalez. The spa will also offer a simple organic menu of foods that fuel wellbeing.
